Investing in Healthcare’s Future: Aalyiah Rangel Named 2026 Scholarship Winner

Hermitage Health & Rehab is excited to honor local student achievement by presenting Aalyiah Rangel with our 2026 Scholarship Award. Funded through the generosity of the Ocoee Foundation, this yearly scholarship recognizes graduating high school seniors preparing for careers in the medical field. 


A standout graduate of Happy Valley High School, Aalyiah will be heading to Tennessee Wesleyan University to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Her impressive high school journey blends athletics, leadership, and public service—she competed in cross country and track, made history as her football team's kicker, and competed nationally in Chicago with the debate team while staying active in the Key Club. Showing an early passion for healthcare, she has already earned her EMT certification. 


We are honored to support driven, compassionate students like Aalyiah as they begin their journey toward caring for others. Please join the entire team at Hermitage Health & Rehab in congratulating Aalyiah and wishing her all the best in her nursing studies!

The Hermitage Health & Rehab, Hillview Health & Rehab, and Sycamore Springs Senior Living scholarship committees selected Mackenzie Moro, Nickolas Caraway, Aidan Lambert, and Jocelin Julian, high school seniors, to receive the Ocoee Foundation Healthcare Scholarship Award for $25,000.
